Free Directory Submissions Done!

I am done with accepting requests. With the current websites I have I will keep submitting them into directories. I will be keeping in touch with all of you. Once I am done submitting to all the directories, I will print out a report and give you the statistics. I like to thank the people on digital point forum. I would also like to thank those that gave input on how to increase attraction of this blog and what to do. And last but not least I would like to thank Mr. Klassen for his generous donation.

I am creating new blogs and the current one I am working on will be for gamers. Visit Gimme My Games Online Gaming Store. Also Visit http://www.3dcarracinggames.net and http://www.playactiongames.org for free online games.

Free Directory Reviews

As part of Traffic Directory I am handing out free directory reviews. I am looking for directories that will most likely convert even a little traffic. Online directories have lost their purpose years ago, and I understand that now there are plenty up that are doing it for the money. A lot of directory owners seem to neglect the fact that directories should be used to help surfers, not just themselves. That is why I am offering this free review services, to give out those directories that I feel are worth submitting your listings to.

The requirements aren't that big. And unfortunately, Pr isn't one of my main concerns. I am more interested in what type of directory it is (i.e. general, niche) and how many visits/day it receives. Quite Easy.

Just send an email to jmgbunny@gmail.com and title it "Directory Review"; I will then check out your directory and potentially add it to my list. Its free so why not try.

Keyword Optimization = Higher Rankings

Targeting keywords are very important, and as everything we do in our lives, if you focus on one task, you are much more likely to get something done rather than doing multiple tasks at once. Same goes for keywords. If you are trying to get listed for a large variety of keywords instead of a good few ones, you are most likely to get bad rankings with a large amount than decent rankings with the smaller amount. So that being said, narrowing your target keywords is highly recommended, and when you see good results for that keyword in search engines, then you move on to the next bunch. Or at least that's how I do my SEO.

As you can probably already tell, I am most likely going to target the keyphrase "Free Directory Submission". So far I am in the hundreds when it comes to google "aww!". But I'll keep track of my own progress and keep my readers updated on how its coming along. Since that's what my blog is about, that's what it should be targeted for. Eventually I will do other keywords like "directory submissions" and maybe just maybe "free directory", but it all depends on how well I am doing. So don't neglect keyword optimization.

Digital Point - Most Recommended Forum

DigitalPoint's Forum is a must go-to forum for every single person who has a website. Whether you own a business and are looking for marketing advice, or do web development and need help, or even interested in getting more traffic or higher rankings in search engines, this is the place to go. This is actually the community that I spend most if not all my time on, and there are so many users online that you are bound to come across an answer to any questions in a couple of minutes. Its like a Yahoo Answers with the ability to market yourself in the signatures.

Seo Digger Beta - Its Over!

SeoDigger is a online tool that allows you to find which key terms you rank for in google. All you had to do was type in your url, and the ranking of the keywords you list for would show up in google. If nothing showed up, you weren't in the top 20 searches for any keywords -_-,(tear). While trying to check out a website someone emailed to me, I had found out today that SeoDigger is no longer in beta. Now something called SEMRush is up. It does the exact same thing as seodigger, however with some pros and cons. It gives you the traffic percentages for keywords, the competitors against it, and more. However, the cons is that you aren't given as much info on all the keywords as you did with SeoDigger.

I completely recommend SEMRush for all those seeing how good they are doing. Considering the fact that its free, we can't complain. Or at least I can't.

Search Engines - The Leaders of The Internet

If someone asked you what are all the search engines you know of most likely it would consist of "Google, Yahoo, Msn, Aol, AskJeeves". Believe it or not there are hundreds of search engines out there on the web. Yeah the majority of the internet population uses the 5 search engines above, but you don't want to miss out on the potential traffic from the other search engines. You have nothing to lose, only much to gain when trying to get into other search engines as well. When people try to do SEO(Search Engine Optimization) they usually aim for just optimizing for google's search engine. This of course makes sense since google is the top search engine, but why not go ahead and SEO for the other search engines while your at it.

When you search for a list of all the search engines in google, wikipedia will most likely pop up with a list of search engines. The reason I trust wikipedia over looking at any other sites or blogs is because wikipedia information is not just written by one person, but internet users like you and I. So no matter what, it will constantly be upgraded. To save you time, I will give you the Search Engines of my choice:

General

Metasearch engines

See also: Metasearch engine
Of course there is a much much bigger list of Search Engines all over wikipedia and especially ones that specifically target niche areas. For example, if you have a business website, you can submit your website to a business search engine. Target these search engines along with google, and you will definitely notice some traffic increase.

Dmoz And Yahoo Directories, King Of The Directories

Dmoz is a very very difficult free directory to list in. If you know a thing or two about Google PR Rankings, Dmoz has an 8, yes, and 8. Then Again, PR just means how much google likes the site. This is a directory that you have to manually submit to, as you have to be very very careful in how you write your Titles, Keywords, and Descriptions, and yes, even careful of the category you choose to be in. I believe that Dmoz is the must get in free directory, and you should try your very hardest to get in, though it make take a couple of weeks to even a couple of months to know if your in or not.

As for Yahoo Directory, It costs $299 a year to be in. But I will say this once and once only, It Is Well Worth It. Yahoo Directory takes care of you and will substanstially increase the traffic to your site. If you are making enough money to put yourself in here, I say don't pass it up.

These are the two directories that my submission softwares will not submit to, and for obvious reasons. These directories are the ones you want to spend your hard earn time, skill and money on, because the end result will be well worth it.
